The helical pile is a kind of ground-bored pile with spiral characteristics, including drill bit/drill pipe/spiral blade and connecting pipe, and the drill pipe is connected with the power input connector. It is convenient to drive the pile into the ground and use it directly as the pile body. The helical pile can penetrate and compact the soil around the pile hole, which improves the side friction resistance of the soil around the pile so that the pile foundation has a strong bearing capacity, pullout resistance, horizontal resistance, small deformation, and good stability.

Features of helical piles:

1. According to the ISO 1461:1999 hot-dip galvanizing specification, different materials should be selected according to the environment and customer needs. The steel is selected from the materials produced by large iron and steel enterprises, and recycled steel is not allowed. In order to achieve high-quality indicators, strict quality control is implemented.

2. Special designed products have been tested by professionals in mechanics, software simulation, and third-party testing, and the mechanical properties are guaranteed. According to strict guidelines, static load test, compression test, tension test, and lateral pressure test are carried out to evaluate the compression resistance, stability, and durability of the product.

Operating conditions:

1. Geological data, construction drawings, and construction organization design are complete.

2. Ground and underground obstacles within the scope of the construction site have been eliminated or dealt with. The site has been leveled, the weak sites that affect the operation of construction machinery have been properly treated and drainage measures have been taken.

3. Water, electricity, roads, and temporary construction facilities are ready.

4. The measurement datum line and leveling base point have been set up on-site and protected.

5. When constructing complex soil layers, test piles should be carried out in advance, and the number is generally not less than 2.

Production technology:

The raw material for the production of spiral ground piles is Q235 welded pipe. Generally, qualified ground piles can be produced by cutting, deforming, welding, pickling, and hot-dip galvanizing, among which pickling and hot-dip galvanizing are important anti-corrosion treatment processes, which directly affect the service life of spiral ground piles. The processing level of the screw pile directly determines the service life of the metal pile. For example, whether the selected welded pipe has sand holes, whether there is a false weld, and whether the width of the weld will affect the future service life of the pile and the quality of subsequent processing. Pickling is an important basic anti-corrosion process. The time of hot-dip galvanizing and the film thickness of the surface galvanized layer will affect the quality of the anti-corrosion treatment of piles. Generally speaking, screw piles can be used for 20-30 years. The environment and method used also affect the service life of the pile, such as the pH of the soil, whether the operation process is appropriate, and improper use will lead to damage to the surface of the metal pile, damage to the metal protective layer, accelerated corrosion of the metal pile, and a reduction in the service life.
