Steel pipe piles are large in size, changeable in shape, and have various interfaces such as circular, square, and rectangular, so they are also used in the construction of aerospace engineering.

Preparations and Precautions

1. Carry out plane positioning according to the design drawings provided by the design unit, and report to the owner and supervisor for approval.

2. Under the witness of the supervisor, the materials used in the project shall be subject to witness sampling and inspection after the appearance and quality assurance acceptance are passed, and they can be used only after passing the inspection.

3. During the construction process, it is necessary to do a good job in site treatment, lofting piles and compounding, etc., and coordinate construction.

Construction process:

1. Move the pile driver to install the pile driver in place, hang the pile, insert the pile, hammer the sinking pile, hammer the pile to the design depth, cut the steel pipe pile inwards, and press the grouting. It should be noted that in order to prevent large displacement and displacement of adjacent piles and surrounding walls during piling and to facilitate construction, it is generally used to drill the middle first and then the periphery (or first drill the middle and then both sides). This is beneficial to reduce soil extrusion and meet the design requirements for piling depth.

2. Transport the steel pipe piles to the site with a flatbed truck, unload them on the side of the pile machine with a crane, stack them according to the piling sequence and the matching requirements of the piles, and pay attention to the direction. The steel pipe piles are mostly hoisted by one-point lashing. After being hoisted to the pile position, the piles are inserted, and the steel pipe piles are aligned with the sample pile positions marked out with lime in advance so that the pile positions are upright and the pile body is straight.

3. In order to prevent the pile head from being damaged by hammering, a special pile cap is placed on the top of the pile head before piling. Place hardwood shock-absorbing pads on the parts directly subjected to hammering. When piling, correct the verticality of the guide bar of the pile frame and the pile, and keep the hammer, the pile cap, and the pile on the same longitudinal axis, and then drive 1-2 meters in the air, and then start piling after correcting the verticality again. When sinking to a certain depth and the quality of pile sinking is good after review, continue hammering until the pile is 60-80cm above the ground, stop hammering, connect piles, and repeat the same steps until the design depth is reached. If it is found that the pile position is not correct or inclined at the beginning, adjust or pull out the steel pipe pile and insert it again.

4. After laying the piles, pay attention to stacking the steel piles according to the specifications, and plug the fulcrums with wooden blocks on both sides of the sleepers to prevent deformation.

In the process of steel pipe pile construction, the difficulty is to control the depth and strength of the steel pipe pile, because the depth of the steel pipe pile is mainly controlled by measuring the length of the steel pipe. If the depth of the steel pipe pile cannot be well controlled, then It is easy to cause inaccurate measurement data during the measurement, so the construction personnel will randomly check several steel pipe piles after inserting them, and select one of them as a standard to carry out the inspection of other steel pipe piles. depth.
