What measures are there to protect the quality of galvanized steel pipes during welding?

There are five main aspects to ensure the safeguard measures for steel pipe welding. If these five aspects are guaranteed, the quality of galvanized steel pipes can also be guaranteed.

The first is people, and the human factor is the focus of welding control. Therefore, before welding, skilled welders with welder certificates should be selected for necessary technical training and disclosure. It is not allowed to be replaced at will to ensure that the welders who weld the pipeline are relatively stable.

The second is the control of welding consumables, ensuring that the purchased welding consumables are from regular channels, have quality assurance certificates, certificates of conformity, and meet the process requirements; the recycling of welding rod heads is strictly controlled to ensure the flow direction and dosage; welding consumables must be baked strictly according to the process, And distribute no more than half a day's dosage at a time.

The third is the welding machine of galvanized steel pipes. The welding machine must ensure reliable performance and meet the requirements of the process; the welding machine must have a current and voltage meter that has passed the verification to ensure the correct implementation of the welding process. The welding cable should not be too long, and the welding parameters should be adjusted if it is longer.

The fourth is the welding process method to ensure the strict implementation of the special operation method of the galvanized steel pipes. The welding process shall be inspected before welding, the parameters of the welding process and the operation method shall be controlled, the appearance quality shall be inspected after welding, and non-destructive testing after welding shall be added if necessary. Control the welding level and the number of welding consumables for each pass.

The fifth is welding environment control to ensure that the temperature, humidity, and wind speed during welding meets the process requirements.
