How to connect galvanized steel tube
How to connect galvanized steel tube

1. How to connect galvanized steel tube

There are three main connection methods when connecting, which are wire type, welding type, and rolling groove type.

1 If the thread type method is used, the thread button cannot be in complete contact with the pipe hoop of the steel pipe, otherwise it is likely to become loose. Before connecting, it is necessary to measure whether the wall thickness of the steel pipe can reach the standard thickness of the wire.

2 Use the welding method to connect, then the position of the nozzle of the steel pipe needs to be connected well, and the thickness of the two nozzles needs to be consistent, otherwise, it is very likely that the thickness of the welded joint will be uneven. After the connection is completed You can then use welding to connect the positions of the nozzles together.

3The use of rolling grooves for connection requires smoothing the inner wall of the pressure groove part of the nozzle, so as to effectively reduce the resistance of the rolling grooves, and adjust the axial distance between the steel pipe and the rolling grooves. A horizontal state while groove forming is performed.

2. How to control the welding process of galvanized steel tube?

1If the connection is made by welding, the size of the multiple ports needs to be kept appropriate. Generally, it can be controlled between 60 degrees and 65 degrees, and a certain gap must be left, which can be controlled at 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm.

2When welding multiple layers, look at the first layer first, and wait for the galvanized layer to melt completely to produce a weld before proceeding to the next step of welding.

3. How to remove the rust on the galvanized steel tube?

1It is necessary to use a solvent to clean the surface of the steel. After cleaning some organic substances on the surface, use a wire brush to remove rust, and brush away all the rust.

2After cleaning, use the pickling method to clean the rusted part of the whole galvanized steel pipe. This method can effectively remove rust. In addition, if the galvanized steel pipe is cold-plated, it is easier to rust, but the hot-dip method is not easy to rust.
