A transmission line tower is a structure used for power transmission. The structural characteristics of all tower types are that they are space truss structures, and the rods are primarily made of single equilateral angle steel or combined angle steel. The materials are generally ASTM A53 GRB and BS4360 Gr 40D, with coarse wire, used to connect the rods. The entire structure is made of angle steel, connecting steel plates, steel pipes, and bolts. Individual parts, such as tower feet, are welded together by several steel plates to form an assembly, making hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion, transportation, and construction erection extremely convenient.
