Tianjin Yuantai Derun Pipe Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd., established in March 2002, is the biggest manufacturer specializing in  ERW square&rectangular tube/pipe, hollow section structure pipe, galvanized pipe and spiral welding pipe in China. Annual output reaches 5 million tons.Yuantai Derun has 59 production lines of black ERW pipe, 10 production lines of galvanized pipe and 3 production lines of spiral welding pipe. Square pipe from 20*20*1mm to 500*500*40mm, rectangular pipe from 20*30*1.2mm to 400*600*40mm,  welded pipe from 2”—60” can be manufactured. Yuantai Derun can manufacture square rectangular pipes as per the standards of ASTM A500, JIS G3466, EN10219, DIN2240, BS1387, AS1163.

Test Method: The anti-corrosion performance of these square tubes is evaluated through various salt spray tests, including the neutral salt spray test (NSS test). NSS is widely used in corrosion testing and involves exposing samples to a 5% sodium chloride saline solution with a pH of 6-7 at 35°C, with a specified salt mist sedimentation rate.

Duration: The neutral salt spray test (NSS test) was conducted for 48 hours, which is an accelerated corrosion test. The comparison is made between this accelerated test and the performance of the samples in a natural environment for one year.

Results for Yuantai Derun Group's Product:

Surface Rating: The product's surface rating is Grade 8, indicating that the defect area on the surface accounts for 0.15% to 0.2%.

Appearance: The appearance grade is "B," signifying that there is almost no darkening caused by corrosion of the covering layer. There is only slight discoloration on the surface of the sample.

Duration of Protection: It's mentioned that after passing the 48-hour NSS test, the product can be expected to perform well in a natural environment for two years.

These results suggest that Yuantai Derun Group's galvanized strip zinc-aluminum-magnesium square tube exhibits good corrosion resistance, as indicated by the minimal surface defects and slight discoloration observed after the NSS test. This performance is expected to provide corrosion protection for an extended period in a natural environment.

It's important to note that the specific performance and longevity of these products in real-world applications may vary depending on factors such as exposure conditions and usage. Therefore, these tests serve as accelerated assessments of corrosion resistance, and real-world performance can be influenced by various environmental factors.
