Hot-dip galvanized coil is a common metal material commonly used in construction, manufacturing, and other fields. It is created by dipping steel coils in molten zinc to form a zinc coating that protects the steel from corrosion and oxidation.
The process of hot-dip galvanizing involves cleaning and surface-treating the steel coil to ensure that the zinc adheres firmly to the steel surface. The coil is then dipped into a zinc bath heated to about 450°C, causing the zinc to react with the steel surface to form a zinc-iron alloy layer. This zinc-iron alloy layer forms a solid protective layer on the steel surface, effectively preventing corrosion and oxidation.
